In our business, leaving a carbon footprint is unavoidable. We have no choice but to use every conceivable mode of transport and large quantities of specialist packaging materials but that doesn’t have to mean that we can’t do more than our fair share to compensate. As well as following all the industry-wide, government-led measures and legislation (which is written into our procedures), we have also adopted our own energy-saving practices, in all areas of our business. We are always on the look-out for new opportunities to lessen our impact on the environment and to boost our contribution to global and local communities through ethical sourcing.
